Visit the Schmidt-Burnham Log House
Come visit the Winnetka Historical Society’s Schmidt-Burnham Log House this season and join us for old-fashioned fun. Tour our c.1837 log house and learn from costumed docents about the families who lived there and what our community was like 180 years ago. Visit during our summer open house dates (May through August) and try your hand at churning home-made butter, writing with quills, or dipping candles. Help out with pioneer-style laundry, play old-fashioned games and more.
