Our Virtual Gala will feature Mike Leonard, Emmy Award-Winning NBC-TV Correspondent, Filmmaker and best-selling author. Mike will share sentimental and humorous tales of his path through a mischievous childhood in Winnetka and Glencoe, a bumpy educational ride and his award winning career in journalism. His late entry into television introduced a national audience to Winnetka by staging network shows and celebrity interviews from his front yard Wiffle ball Stadium.

WHEN: June 13th, 2020 6:00 – 7:15pm

WHERE/HOW: Join the VIRTUAL Gala from the comfort of your home on your computer, live streamed from ZOOM or our Facebook page.

WHAT: In addition to hearing Mike share his stories, the event will include a short presentation on the mission and future plans for the Winnetka Historical Society, a paddle-raise to support our work, a live auction and other surprises.

TICKETS/REGISTRATION: Our usual Gala ticket price is $250 per person. We hope you will consider registering at this level though other amounts are also appreciated.

There is an option to register at no cost with opportunities to make monetary contributions during the event. 

ATTIRE: Whimsical hats suggested / Pants optional!
