This free community event celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the final trek of Winnetka’s oldest dwelling, the Schmidt-Burnham Log House, which was moved from it’s home on Tower Road to it’s current location in the Crow Island Woods.

Costumed docents from the 1850s, craft demonstrations, children’s games, BBQ luncheon catered by Grand Foods, live entertainment featuring the local band Crow Island, and much more!

Enter to win the wooden Winnetka Log House Playhouse, drawing will be held at the event! Individual tickets $10, Pack of 3 tickets $20, available day of the event and in our online shop: http://winnetkahistory.org/shop/

A brief program to recognize and thank those that made the move possible will take place at 2:30pm.

Free and open to the public!

Directions

From I94: Exit Willow Road east, travel approximately 1 mile. The house is located just past Hibbard Road on the south side of the street.

Park on Euclid to the west or on Willow Road just east of the house, in front of Crow Island School.
